Posting after an unexpected heart attack.
I had a heart attack in July, more accurately it was angina pectoris, which is caused by the lack of oxygenated blood getting to the heart muscle. Unexpected. Here is the background.
In April this year (2022), I was feeling healthy and strong. I seldom visited my doctor, and when I did, we usually ended up talking about my excellent health. I attribute most of that to my diet, although my doctor and I agree to disagree on that issue. He said that good health was a bonus, and that is could vanish very quickly.
Three months previously I had taken a booster jab of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 Vaccine. I didn’t expect any adverse health reaction, but I got a swelling in the pit of my left arm, presumably because lymph glands swelled up. (I have no idea if that is important or not, but I report anyway.) In early June, I finally get Covid-19 myself. I wasn’t concerned too much because I was “fit and healthy.” The during week of infection I lacked energy, but it wasn’t too severe. However, the recovery in terms of ability to exercise wasn’t quick. Then on 3rd July I have an angina attack and two days in hospital. (More on that later.) I think, without any proof of course, that the heart attack was Covid-19 triggered. In September I got the 4th vaccine jab, and this time it was noticeable that within a few days my ability to exercise which had been (post heart attack) improving, had declined.
I write this blog to help other people, having made many mistakes in my own life regarding my health, while in my imagination I call myself “healthy” I lie, I don’t know what “healthy” is. We all lie to ourselves, we live in denial, thinking that we are “normal” or “healthy for my age” when we need to be much more concerned about health, twenty years before we get sick.
So, to learn from my experience go back now to 2016 and read what I wrote, including some updates written in April this year (2022), before I had a heart attack (July, 2022) use the following link.
Open Future Health aims to be a really good place for you to begin your journey to better health. There are probably many rungs on the ladder to a form of better health, which is far better that you can imagine. The first step to better health is to be conscientious about it. Almost all of our basic health knowledge is badly contaminated with religious and commercial propaganda. You know that a vegetarian diet is a gold standard, you know that animal fats are bad for your heart, and you know the vigorous exercise is the key to losing weight. You “KNOW” a lot of stuff that’s proven totally wrong, by well-established science, and the recent experience of millions of people with access to better information.
